Radiology

The Radiology Dept. was formerly referred to as Diagnostic Radiology. It participates actively in diagnosis and treatment as nonradiological images such as ultrasonic waves and MRIs become more widespread in use.

It used to play just a supplementary role, but now provides decisive clues to treatment via high-tech medical imaging devices. Instead of surgery, it implements biopsies and improves treatment quality through Minimal Invasive Treatment such as with tumor embolization, angioplasty, radio frequency thermal ablation therapy, and the like.
